A warm welcome at PSE 2026
PSE 2026 in Erfurt was our first opportunity to meet the plasma-surface-engineering community as a new member of the EFDS, the European Society of Thin Films. Thank you to EFDS for the warm welcome and the new-member display. The conversations around optical coating monitoring, EulenStudio and possible collaborations gave us several ideas to take forward.

Measuring AR coatings on textured solar glass, with Convsun and Avantes
Convsun built the hardware around Avantes spectrometers; Eule27 wrote the measurement procedures, the data acquisition and the optical models. The system resolves transmission differences below 0.1% on strongly textured solar glass, where scattered light defeats an ordinary laboratory setup.
